Job summary

Powdersville Post Acute is seeking a dependable Laundry Aide (Full-Time) in Easley, SC to provide clean linens and clothing for residents. This role is essential to maintaining a comfortable, safe, and hygienic environment within a 60-bed skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities include sorting, washing, drying, folding, labeling clothes, and delivering items to rooms while following infection control procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of laundry or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Dependable and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold resident clothing and facility linens
• Deliver clean laundry promptly to resident rooms
• Label new resident clothing as needed
• Maintain linen quality and remove damaged or stained items
• Follow all infection control and sanitation procedures
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Report equipment issues or maintenance needs promptly
• Keep laundry areas clean, organized, and sanitary
