Job summary

National Safety Apparel is seeking a motivated Label Assistant to support the label coordinators and Team Lead in daily labeling tasks in our Ohio facility. You will help pull, verify, and package labels to meet NSA/customer specifications, and assist with tags and heat transfers for orders.

Requirements include a high school diploma and about one year of data entry experience. This full-time role offers on-site work with comprehensive benefits and OT eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, additional schooling preferred.
• 1 year of data entry experience preferred.
• Dependability, teamwork, initiative, and strong attendance are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist pulling and packaging all secondary and printed labels to NSA’s/customers specifications.
• Pull all supplier supplied tags/ heat transfers for orders.
• Ensure labeling is correct for sewing department.

Label Assistant

Reports To: Label Team Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-exempt (Eligible for OT)

Direct Reports: N/A

Employment Type: Full Time

Compensation: $15.50/hour

Position Overview: To assist the label coordinators and Team Lead with the daily functions related to labeling. Ensure all secondary labels being pulled are correct according to NSA’s/customer’s specifications.

Essential Job Functions

• Assist pulling and packaging all secondary and printed labels to NSA’s/customers specifications.
• Pull all supplier supplied tags/ heat transfers for orders.
• Ensure all labeling is correct for sewing department.

Non-Essential Job Functions

• Help label coordinator as needed
• Keep area organized
• Other duties as assigned

Training: Provided on the job

Qualifications

Education & Certifications: High school diploma required, additional schooling preferred

Experience: 1 year of data entry preferred
