Job summary

National Safety Apparel is seeking a Label Assistant to support the label coordinators and Team Lead in daily labeling tasks. You will ensure secondary labels and tags meet customer specifications and assist in pulling and packaging labels for orders.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, fast turnaround, and adherence to quality standards in a temperature-controlled plant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; additional schooling preferred.
• 1 year of data entry preferred.
• Key competencies include dependability, teamwork, positive attitude, flexibility, initiative, organizational skills, communication and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist pulling and packaging all secondary and printed labels to NSA's/customers specifications.
• Pull all supplier supplied tags/heat transfers for orders.
• Ensure all labeling is correct for sewing department.

Label Assistant

Reports To: Label Team Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-exempt (Eligible for OT)

Direct Reports: N/A

Employment Type: Full Time

Compensation: $15.50/hour

Position Overview:

To assist the label coordinators and Team Lead with the daily functions related to labeling. Ensure all secondary labels being pulled are correct according to NSA's/customer's specifications.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist pulling and packaging all secondary and printed labels to NSA's/customers specifications.
• Pull all supplier supplied tags/ heat transfers for orders.
• Ensure all labeling is correct for sewing department.

Non-Essential Job Functions:

• Help label coordinator as needed
• Keep area organized
• Other duties as assigned

Training:

Provided on the job

Qualifications:

Education & Certifications: High school diploma required, additional schooling preferred

Experience: 1 year of data entry preferred

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit or stand for duration of the workday.
