Covia is seeking a dynamic Lab Technician for 2nd shift to support the Operations team at its Technisand Wedron location in Wedron, IL. You will obtain and prepare product samples for analysis, conduct tests, and report results to help ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and prepare product samples for analysis and storage.
• Conduct tests according to established laboratory procedures.
• Utilize computer applications to compile, record and report test results.
• Perform general housekeeping within the laboratory.
• Follow Covia, MSHA and OSHA safety standards at all times.
• Work in a physically demanding work environment.
