Covia is seeking a Mill Operator to join the Operations team at its Wedron, IL location. You will work Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm, operating and inspecting mineral processing equipment, collecting samples, and ensuring safety and efficiency.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2–3 years of experience. Key responsibilities include complying with MSHA CFR safety rules, performing routine inspections, maintaining housekeeping, and completing required paperwork.

• 2-3 years of experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Comply with MSHA regulations and CFR procedures to protect health and safety.
• Operate and inspect equipment safely to minimize risk and downtime.
• Perform pre-shift inspections of equipment and area.
• Collect and process samples and adjust operating parameters as required.
• Maintain housekeeping and report problems to management.
• Complete required paperwork in an orderly, accurate manner.
