Job summary

Covia is seeking a dynamic Mill Operator to join the Operations team at its Technisand Wedron, IL location. This role supports production through equipment operation and adherence to safety procedures. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and 2–3 years of experience, with a demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

• 2-3 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with MSHA CFR regulations and safety procedures.
• Perform pre-shift inspections and maintain safe work environments in the screen house.
• Operate equipment safely to minimize downtime and quality issues.
• Collect and process samples and adjust operating parameters as required.
• Complete required paperwork in an orderly, accurate manner and assist with continuous improvement.
