Covia is seeking a Lab Technician for 2nd Shift at its Technisand Wedron location in Wedron, IL. The role supports the Operations team with sample preparation, testing, data entry, and safety adherence.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, familiarity with laboratory procedures, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. This full-time position emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and rigorous safety standards.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
• Basic mathematics, statistical analysis, and particle size distributions.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Responsabilidades

• Obtaining and preparing product samples for analysis and storage.
• Conducting various tests according to established laboratory procedures.
• Utilizing computer applications to compile, record and report test results.
• Performing general housekeeping within the laboratory.
• Following Covia, MSHA and OSHA safety standards at all times.
• Working in a physically demanding work environment.

Covia is looking for a dynamic Lab Technician for 2nd Shift who will have a positive impact on the Operations team at its Technisand Wedron location in Wedron, IL.

The successful incumbent will have the following Key Accountabilities:

• Obtaining and preparing product samples for analysis and storage
• Conducting various tests according to established laboratory procedures
• Utilizing various computer applications to compile, record and report test results
• Performing general housekeeping within the laboratory
• Following Covia, MSHA and OSHA safety standards at all times
• Working in a physically demanding work environment
