Job summary

Covia is seeking a dynamic Lab Technician for 2nd shift to support the Operations team at its Technisand Wedron location in Wedron, IL. You will obtain and prepare product samples for analysis, conduct tests, and report results to help ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

The successful incumbent will have the following Key Accountabilities:

• Obtaining and preparing product samples for analysis and storage
• Conducting various tests according to established laboratory procedures
• Utilizing various computer applications to compile, record and report test results
• Performing general housekeeping within the laboratory
• Following Covia, MSHA and OSHA safety standards at all times
• Working in a physically demanding work environment
