Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an organized 2nd shift Admin/Inventory Specialist in Georgetown, KY to support data entry, order processing, and inventory tracking in a manufacturing environment.

This contract-to-hire role begins on first shift for training and transitions to the second shift (5:30 pm–2:15 am). Requires 1+ year admin/inventory experience and offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of administrative, inventory, logistics, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong data entry and computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain inventory and order information in company systems.
• Process shipments, receipts, and sales orders.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
• Review shipping and receiving records for accuracy.
• Coordinate with suppliers and customers regarding order status.
• Support EDI transactions and documentation verification.
• Provide customer service and resolve order-related issues.
