Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an Inventory Coordinator for a 2nd shift role in Middle River, MD, on a Friday-Monday 4x10 schedule from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

This contract-to-hire position focuses on accurate inbound/outbound processing, FIFO, and ERP-driven stock control to support production operations. You will maintain stock records, perform cycle counts, assist with shipping/receiving, and ensure SOPs are followed to sustain material availability and order fulfillment in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years in inventory coordination or management.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems in manufacturing settings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Experience with cycle counts and daily inventory verification.
• Knowledge of shipping/receiving within warehouse/manufacturing.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain stock accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound goods FIFO and process per SOPs.
• Ensure on-time delivery of components per plans and priorities.
• Maintain Kanban material supply to shop floor.
• Manage raw material movements and stock levels.
• Keep ERP system stock movements accurate and reconcile discrepancies.
• Participate in daily cycle counts to verify accuracy.
• Support inventory control and warehouse operations.
• Assist with shipping and receiving as needed.
• Enter inventory transactions and stock adjustments in ERP.
