Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead a team focused on inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and ERP-based adjustments. The role emphasizes staff planning, safety compliance, and continuous improvement in warehouse operations.

You will drive picking accuracy, manage shift schedules, and back up the Manager as needed, with a strong emphasis on developing team members for growth and leadership potential.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented, analytical with strong organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient at using a computer; Excel and data handling
• Must have ability to comprehend procedures, systems and data.
• Solid understanding of inventory control functions and principles and how they impact processing orders and company financial targets.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and changing priorities simultaneously.
• Self-starter with initiative; able to execute tasks with minimal supervision.
• Bachelor of Business Administration or equivalent degree preferred; will accept strong work experience in place of a degree
• Experience working in inventory systems such as WMS systems, RF scanners and ERP systems

Responsibilities

• Leads a team to manage day-to-day operations in the warehouse area.
• Sets schedules according to workload and ensures staffing levels.
• Oversees inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and ERP-based adjustments.
• Ensures safe, efficient operations and adherence to safety policies.
• Drives picking accuracy and process improvements across the team.
• Provides ongoing feedback and conducts performance reviews.
