Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee multiple work cells and ensure on-time production execution. You will prioritize and schedule work orders in our MRP system, manage staffing, and support forecasts with the Production Manager.

You will lead continuous improvement efforts, implement KPI tracking, and collaborate with Engineering and HR to resolve issues while maintaining safety standards and quality on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 5+ years production experience preferred with supervisory exposure.
• Experience scheduling and prioritizing in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and cost accounting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production work orders and scheduling across multiple cells.
• Manage staff hours, attendance, and temporary personnel as needed.
• Coordinate with HR on staffing issues and safety compliance.
• Provide performance feedback to team members and lead kaizen or problem-solving events.
• Collaborate with Production Manager, Engineering and other departments to resolve equipment/process issues.
• Drive improvements in flow, KPI tracking, and visual management on the shop floor.
