Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a hardworking team member to evaluate product quality on the line while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies. The role includes monitoring machines, notifying supervisors of breakdowns, and trimming diseased or contaminated portions as needed.

2nd shift available in the United States. Responsibilities include removing diseased birds/viscera and ensuring each product meets quality standards, with physical requirements listed in the job

Qualifications

• Must be able to use knives/scissors.
• Follow directions and act quickly.
• Reaching and pulling required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate product quality while ensuring a safe work environment.
• Monitor machines and report any mechanical breakdowns to supervision.
• Recognize, remove, and discard diseased birds/viscera and contaminated parts.
• Trim diseased/contaminated portions from product as needed.
• Adhere to Tyson policies and procedures.

This position is responsible for evaluating the quality of the product while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Responsible for monitoring machines as needed an notifying Supervisor of any mechanical breakdowns. Responsible for recognizing, removing, and discarding systemic diseased birds and or/viscera packages, removal of parts due to disease and contamination, removing birds from the line for reprocessing due to defects. Trimming disease and contamination from the product as necessary.

This position is responsible for evaluating the quality of the product while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
