Job summary

Qualifications

• Educational certification from a tech or trade school beyond high school.
• Proven experience in electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fields.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and use diagnostic instruments.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment.
• Plans work using electrical codes, materials properties, and electronic equipment principles.
• Installs, starts up and shuts down equipment following safety procedures and OSHA rules.
• Advises operators and line mechanics on safe operation and procedures.
• Maintains maintenance records and performs preventive maintenance.
• Trains other maintenance staff and assists with troubleshooting.
