Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for 2nd shift in Bedford, Pennsylvania. This role performs basic to intermediate maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure with minimal supervision, addressing scheduled and unplanned work to keep operations safe and efficient.

Responsibilities include maintaining CNC and manual machines, forklifts, AGVs, paint systems, robots, welders, and compressed air systems, as well as HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and office

Qualifications

• Overtime flexibility and reliable attendance.
• Experience in industrial, mechanical, electrical or moving vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.
• Keep machinery such as CNC and manual tools, forklifts, AGVs, paint systems, robots, welders and compressed air systems in good working order.
• Maintain facility systems including HVAC, lighting, sprinkler, plumbing and office fixtures.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Log materials used and requisition parts via electronic devices.
• Assist with relocating and organizing production and office spaces.
• Support special projects from Maintenance or Plant Leadership.
• Adhere to safety procedures and 6S standards.
• Coordinate with contractors and manage materials logistics.
