Job summary

JLG Industries, an Oshkosh company, seeks a maintenance technician to perform basic to intermediate upkeep on manufacturing equipment and facilities with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include scheduled/unplanned maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and supporting a safe, efficient workspace.

Qualifications include experience in industrial/mechanical/electrical maintenance, ability to operate forklifts and power tools, and reading electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial, mechanical, electrical or moving vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, man lifts, and power tools.
• Intermediate ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, or mechanical problems.
• Must read electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs and electrical wiring practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and unplanned maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.
• Maintain and repair CNC and manual machines, forklifts, AGVs, paint systems, robots, welders, and air systems.
• Service HVAC, lighting, sprinklers, plumbing, and office fixtures.
• Troubleshoot and rebuild mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Record parts used and requisition through electronic devices.
• Assist with relocating production and office spaces and support projects.
