Tyson Foods, Inc. in Amherst, OH is hiring Industrial Maintenance Mechanics for 2nd shift. Pay range is $24.40 to $34.85 per hour, depending on experience.

Maintenance Generalist performs skilled work including preventive maintenance and repair of the facility's real property and plant utility systems. Relocation assistance is not offered. Roles require ability to work overtime and weekends, and to operate under strict safety and GMP policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of industrial or general maintenance experience documented in the work history section.
• Graduate of a maintenance training program or HVAC program (documentation required).
• Or have a degree within a related field (if graduated, no experience needed).

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, GMP, and attendance policies.
• Assist in daily plant operations and setup/breakdown.
• Maximize plant efficiencies and maintain product quality.
• Maintain mechanical inventory and report unsafe conditions.
• Lubrication, belt repairs, drive train and bearing maintenance.
• Repair mechanical and electrical equipment in a timely manner.
