Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Maintenance & Repair Mechanic to support preventive maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment at our Acworth, GA facility. You will work with Process Technicians and Operators to troubleshoot and service production lines, install components, and ensure safe, efficient operation.

We require a high school diploma and 5+ years in a fast-paced industrial setting, with strong electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in a fast-paced industrial setting.
• Experience as a multi-skilled technician is a plus.
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical prints and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of power tools.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Removes and installs machine components to maintain production equipment.
• Troubleshoots systems to identify causes of failure and repairs.
• Collaborates with Process Technicians and Operators to address issues.
• Designs and fabricates fixtures to support equipment functionality.
• Maintains records of malfunctions and adjustments.
• Performs test runs to ensure safe operation and quality.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of maintenance areas and tools.
• Repairs facility equipment and supports safety standards.
• Conducts preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Recommends updates to maintenance schedules.
