Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair equipment, tools, and machinery assigned by the Maintenance Manager, ensuring safe, reliable operation to meet production goals.

The role requires at least one year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment, the ability to read basic electrical and pneumatic diagrams, and hands-on welding/cutting and installation tasks. Competitive pay and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• At least one year of maintenance experience in manufacturing or distribution.
• Ability to read basic electrical and pneumatic diagrams.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and repairs to conveyor systems.
• Arc welding and oxy/fuel cutting experience.
• Basic electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge.
• Read, write and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to work overtime with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Repair and adjust machinery; dismantle parts to repair or replace defective components.
• Operate shop tools, equipment, and machines related to maintenance as skilled.
• Assist in electrical projects and perform minor electrical repairs.
• Assist in pipe fitting tasks and some installation work.
• Repair power industrial equipment and assist in rebuilding related equipment.
• Assist in installing new plant equipment.
• Maintain production equipment for uptime and safe manufacturing of coatings.
• Improve reliability and operating efficiency of plant equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment in a safe and timely manner.
• Support site housekeeping and safety programs; participate in other duties as directed.
