Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance & Repair Mechanic to support preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of manufacturing equipment at our facility in Acworth, GA.

You will work closely with Process Technicians and Operators to keep production running safely and efficiently. The role requires a strong background in electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems, with real-world experience in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years related experience in a fast-paced industrial setting; extrusion or molding experience is a plus.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and mechanical drawings.
• Strong electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical skills.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations.
• Self-starter who can work with limited supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Removes and installs machine components for safe operation.
• Troubleshoots systems to determine causes of machine failure.
• Collaborates with Process Technicians and Operators.
• Designs and fabricates machine components.
• Records malfunctions and adjustments.
• Conducts test runs of machine adjustments.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of maintenance areas.
• Repairs building and grounds equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance on facility equipment.
• Recommends changes to maintenance schedules.
• Other duties as needed.
