Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, seeks a Maintenance & Repair Mechanic to support preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of manufacturing equipment at our Acworth, GA facility. You will work closely with Process Technicians and Operators to diagnose issues and implement fixes ensuring safe, efficient production.

The role emphasizes strong electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical skills, plus the ability to work overtime as needed. OSHA familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years related experience in a fast-paced industrial setting.
• Experience as a multi-skilled technician in extrusion or injection molding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Removes and installs machine components to ensure safe and efficient operation of production equipment.
• Troubleshoots systems to determine causes of machine failure and recommends repair solutions.
• Collaborates with Process Technicians and Operators to understand failures and component fabrication needs.
• Designs, fabricates, and welds machine components or fixtures for proper equipment function.
• Records details of malfunctions and adjustments as required.
• Conducts test runs of machine adjustments to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Maintains cleanliness, functionality, and safety of maintenance tools and work areas.
• Repairs building and grounds equipment, fixtures and tools as needed.
• Performs preventative maintenance and inspections on facility equipment as scheduled.
