Job summary

Kelly Services in Greer, SC is seeking a Maintenance Tech on-site for the 2nd shift (Mon–Thu, 3pm–1am). The role emphasizes troubleshooting, repairing production and facility equipment, and executing preventive maintenance with accurate work order updates in our system.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in industrial maintenance, welding (MIG/arc), forklift experience, and basic electrical troubleshooting. A high school diploma/GED is preferred; steel-toed boots are required.

Qualifications

1–3 years industrial maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Welding (MIG and/or arc) experience required.
Forklift experience required with training provided.
Strong electrical troubleshooting ability and tool interpretation.
Effective communication and team collaboration; strong safety mindset.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair production and facility equipment quickly and cost-effectively.
Perform preventive maintenance and update the maintenance system with work orders.
Inspect equipment, report findings, and complete corrective actions.
Resolve electrical issues, including drives and PLCs; implement corrections.
Maintain machine productivity and quality after repairs or downtime.
Manage repair supplies and inventory; respond to safety concerns.
