Job summary

Accounting Search seeks an experienced 2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a food processing facility in Greater Madison, WI. The role offers $31.00/hour base with premium overtime, a full benefits package, and a dedicated Monday–Friday 2nd shift.

Qualifications

1+ year of mechanical maintenance experience in a fast-paced production setting.
Demonstrated welding/fabrication fundamentals for machinery repair.
Comfort working in a food-safe processing environment with GMP compliance.
Stable employment history emphasizing reliability and safety.
Residence within daily 45-minute drive of Greater Madison, WI.

Responsibilities

Maintain high-speed processing lines through mechanical troubleshooting and rapid fault-tracing.
Service conveyors, drive assemblies, belts, and gearboxes; optimize performance.
Diagnose and service fluid power systems including hydraulic/pneumatic components.
Perform structural modifications using MIG/TIG welding to repair guards and frames.
Ensure sanitation and GMP compliance in all operations.
