Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for 2nd shift at the North Carolina Dobson Plant. The role focuses on maintaining mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, reading blueprints, and performing preventative maintenance to ensure safe, efficient operation.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of industrial maintenance experience, NOCTI certifications, and the ability to work unsupervised, including nights and weekends. Training for entry level staff is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in industrial machinery maintenance and repair.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and schematics.
• Intermediate math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical, electromechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, conveyors, pumps, steam and electrical systems.
• Identify root causes of complex issues using welding, fabrication, basic pipefitting and electrical/control knowledge.
• Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.
• Propose permanent fixes for recurring problems.
• Identify and correct unsafe conditions and seek assistance if needed.
• Assist with maintaining blueprints and operating manuals.
• Train entry level employees as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
