Redman Equipment & Manufacturing Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for an ongoing site in West Jefferson, NC. The position is for the second shift, operating from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, offering the opportunity for benefits after three months.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician required.
• 10+ years experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic accepted.
• Entry-level candidates with a relevant 2-year degree are also considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform Daily PM's on equipment.
• Repair and maintain machinery and equipment according to OEM specifications.
• Maintain records and logs as needed.

Skills

Electrical controls knowledge

HVAC systems knowledge

Ability to diagnose equipment failure

Knowledge of safety standards

Education

2-year degree in Electrical/Machine Technology
