Superior Manufacturing Co., LLC is seeking a Human Resources Specialist for the 2nd shift at our Georgetown, KY facility. The role encompasses daily HR operations, investigations, policy enforcement, and supporting effective HR services at the Toyota Georgetown plant.

The ideal candidate will manage attendance processes, advise management on employee relations, uphold policies, conduct disciplinary actions, and assist with onboarding and HR metrics.

Responsibilities

• Administers attendance tracking and attendance disciplinary process.
• Provides advice and support to Production Management and Team Members on daily employee relations and performance management issues.
• Administers and upholds company policy and procedures.
• Conducts employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Administers drug testing when needed (i.e., random, reasonable suspicion, post promotion).
• Interviews qualified job applicants for open internal positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
• Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
• Supports HR Manager in implementing programs to improve employee relations, retention, and morale.
• Assists in effective on-boarding of new hires.
• Assists with HR reporting and metrics.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
