Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeeper for the 2nd shift at UMH Sparrow in Lansing, MI.

The role involves cleaning patient areas, restrooms, and common spaces on a health care campus, with a shift from 3:00pm to 11:30pm and every other weekend/holiday. Responsibilities include polishing surfaces, cleaning rooms and corridors, restocking supplies, and transporting small equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
• Post-offer medical, background screening and drug test required.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent, required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floors.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, doors, panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebasket and transports trash to disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment between departments.
