Valmont Industries, Inc. is seeking a General Labor candidate for the 2nd shift (4:00 pm - 2:30 pm, M-F) in El Dorado, KS. The role involves operating basic machinery, cranes, forklifts and manual tasks to support production.

Starting wage is $20.75/hr with a $1.50/hr shift differential. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, read a tape measure, perform basic math and adhere to safety procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• The ability to read a tape measure and perform simple mathematics.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (frequent up to 20 pounds) and wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Assist other workers by performing specific or general duties.
• Keep materials, tools and supplies available for coworkers.
• Operate routing machines and grinding equipment as assigned.
• Perform inspections on cranes and forklifts.
• Work as part of a team to meet production goals.
