Job summary

Celerity Staffing is hiring a furnace operator for a 2nd shift in Wisconsin. The role entails operating furnace equipment to reach proper pouring temperatures and maintaining strict quality standards.

The position requires handling ladles, following the production schedule, and the physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. Prior furnace experience is preferred, with overtime on Thursdays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Operate furnace equipment to melt raw iron to proper pouring temperatures and quality specifications.
• Fill ladles for pourers according to production schedule and customer requirements to assure quality standards.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, push and pull as needed, up to 50 lbs.

Job description

Wage:$28.00 - $33.00/hr.

Shift: 2nd Shift; Sunday – Wednesday, 6:00pm – 4:00am; overtime scheduled on Thursday’s

• Operate furnace equipment to melt raw iron to proper pouring temperatures and within quality specifications
• Fill ladles for pourers in accordance with production schedule and customer requirements to assure quality standards are met
• Physically able to do work requiring frequent standing, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling. Must be able to lift and carry, push and pull 50 lbs.
• Prior experience preferred; specific to furnace operation
