Job summary

Dowa THT America Inc. is seeking a Furnace Operator to manage furnace and gas checks, load and unload furnaces per recipe, and document all readings. The role supports part setting as needed and adheres to strict safety guidelines.

The position operates on a 12-hour shift from 5 pm to 5 am, with a two-days-on/two-days-off followed by three-days-on/three-days-off rotation, including weekends.

Job description

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Furnace Operator is responsible for all furnace checks, gas checks, and logged recordings; loading of furnaces and unloading per recipe and alarm; providing additional support to part setting as is necessary.

This is a 12 hour shift, rotating weekends. 5 pm to 5 am. Two days on, two days off, three days on, three days off, repeat.

The successful candidate will have a

• High School education or equivalent.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs. intermittently.
• Ability to stand for 12 hours and work every other weekend.
• Respect for and adherence to safety guidelines.

Minimum starting pay is from $22.00+/hr. and higher for candidates having experience in a production environment, plus a $1.25/hr. shift premium.
