Sonaca North America is seeking a Forming Fabricator for the 2nd shift in Saint Charles, MO. The role involves setting up and operating forming equipment, inspecting parts and supporting lean manufacturing processes to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Candidates should be detail-oriented, with the ability to read drawings and use precision measuring tools; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; may require assessment.
• Detail oriented with ability to use micrometer calipers and electronic calipers.
• Ability to read and understand tolerances on manufacturing drawings.
• Demonstrated judgment in selecting guidelines and procedures for tasks.
• Understanding of basic math and lean principles in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Follow production, safety and training requirements; maintain documentation.
• Set up and operate machines (hydraulic shear, chop saw, forklift) as assigned.
• Use gauges, calipers and blueprints to check first part quality; perform 100% inspection.
• Complete production run and buy-off, document counts and data.
• Support continuous improvement and operate within lean manufacturing practices.
