WM in Chesapeake, Virginia is seeking a Fleet Supervisor (2nd Shift) to lead a shop of 13 technicians and manage a fleet of 70+ vehicles. The role starts at 11:30 a.m. and focuses on safe, efficient maintenance and repairs, prioritizing tasks and ensuring adherence to company standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 4 years of relevant work experience (beyond education).
• Valid Driver's License required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day‑to‑day operations of the maintenance shop.
• Coordinates and supervises all maintenance work and repairs, monitors progress and quality.
• Reviews driver repairs and other maintenance requests and prepares work orders.
• Performs mechanical duties as needed.
• Monitors inventory of replacement parts and restocks as needed.
• Coaches, trains, evaluates employee performance, and participates in disciplinary actions as needed.
