WM is seeking a Fleet Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Chesapeake, VA. You will provide hands-on leadership for a fleet of 70+ vehicles and supervise a team of 13 technicians, prioritizing repair and preventive maintenance tasks to keep operations safe and efficient.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirements).
• Valid driver's license upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the day-to-day operations of employees in the maintenance shop.
• Coordinates and supervises all maintenance work and repairs, and monitors progress and quality.
• Reviews driver repairs and other maintenance requests and prepares work order documents.
• Performs mechanical duties as needed.
• Monitors inventory of replacement parts and restocks as needed.
• Oversees personnel including coaching, training, evaluating employee performance, and conducting disciplinary action as needed.
• Interprets and ensures consistent application of organizational policies and safety regulations.
• Creates and submits reports as necessary.

Pay: The expected base pay range for this onsite position is $73,525 - $86,000. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
