Job summary

WM is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of fleet technicians and oversee ~100 vehicles and assets to ensure safety, reliability, and uptime. The role partners with operations leadership to minimize downtime and meet business demands.

Shift is Full-Time, 2nd shift starting at 1:00 PM, with alternating Saturdays. The role emphasizes coaching, safety, productivity, and quality while managing daily shop operations and prioritizing repairs and preventive maintenance tasks to meet

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
• 4 years years of relevant work experience
• Driver's License Valid Driver's License Upon Hire

Responsibilities

• Oversees the day-to-day operations of employees in the maintenance shop.
• Coordinates and supervises all maintenance work and repairs, and monitors progress and quality.
• Reviews driver repairs and other maintenance requests and prepares work order documents.
• Performs mechanical duties as needed.
• Monitors inventory of replacement parts and restocks as needed.
• Oversees personnel including coaching, training, evaluating employee performance, and conducting disciplinary action as needed.
• Interprets and ensures consistent application of organizational policies and safety regulations.
• Creates and submits reports as necessary.
