Job summary

WM is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead a shop of technicians responsible for about 100 vehicles and equipment assets. You will schedule, assign, and supervise repairs and preventive maintenance while ensuring safety, quality, and uptime to meet customer and business needs.

Reporting to operations leadership, you will coach staff, monitor performance, and drive improvements in efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid Driver's License upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of the maintenance shop.
• Coordinates and supervises all maintenance work and repairs, monitors progress and quality.
• Reviews driver repairs and other maintenance requests and prepares work orders.
• Performs mechanical duties as needed.
• Monitors inventory of replacement parts and restocks as needed.
• Oversees personnel, coaching, training, evaluating performance, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Creates and submits reports as necessary.
