Avery Dennison in Greenwood, Indiana, is hiring a Finishing Team Manager to lead the 2nd shift finishing team, driving safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives while championing continuous improvement within the Greenfield facility.

This on-site role emphasizes strong EHS leadership, coaching, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing challenges and sustain a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership and supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a diverse team.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations systems, processes, SOPs, and standard work.
• Familiarity with Lean Sigma and continuous improvement tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the 2nd shift finishing team to meet safety, service, quality, productivity, cost, and inventory targets.
• Enforce EHS policies and lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Ensure SOPs, standard work, cycle counts, quality standards, and audits are followed.
• Drive continuous improvement via Kaizen events and Lean Sigma activities.
• Coach and develop team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
