Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. in Chatsworth, GA seeks a 2nd shift Finishing Supervisor to lead a team of 15-20 associates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will drive safety, quality and productivity while maintaining shift communication and coaching front-line staff.

The role requires hands-on leadership, reliability in a 24/7 operation, and the ability to resolve issues, manage line performance, and coordinate cross-functional activities with the Finishing and Quality teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to work extended schedules based on business needs.
• Experience in finishing/coating is a plus.
• Familiar with Google apps and plant systems (G-Link, Kronos, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead shift of 15-20 associates.
• Ensure safety rules and plant safety compliance.
• Maintain line speed, moisture, width, length and carpet exit temperature.
• Coordinate quality testing and processing of trial materials.
• Lead safety/quality meetings and trainings.
• Complete daily production, quality and safety reports.
