Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a Feed Mill Utility Associate for the 2nd shift at Hazlehurst Feed Mill. The role involves covering for absent workers, setting up lines, and distributing knives at shift start and end.

You will train others as needed and maintain a clean, safe work area in a noisy, cold production environment. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with company policies and welfare guidelines, performing duties across assigned lines, and supporting production through hands-on

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended hours.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently fills in and performs work when regular worker is absent.
• Distributes knives prior to shift, swaps out knives during shift and collects them at end of shift.
• Sets up assigned lines with stands and ice.
• Trains or cross-trains incoming or current workers on new skills as needed.
• Maintains clean and sanitary work area around assigned line.
• Follows company safety policies and NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines.
