Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a Feed Mill Utility Associate to perform housekeeping, maintain a safe work area, and assist with receiving feed ingredients. You will process visitors and manage truck deliveries while following strict safety and animal feed guidelines.

This role requires flexibility for night, weekend, and holiday shifts, with the ability to work independently and follow detailed procedures. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Ability to complete required logs and forms.
• Strong communication, both verbal and written.
• Attention to detail and issue resolution.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, irregular hours.
• Follow detailed processes and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily housekeeping procedures in the Feed Mill and conduct grounds maintenance.
• Control access of staff, visitors, and trucks entering the property.
• Review and log inspection paperwork for trucks and direct traffic accordingly.
• Understand basic animal food safety and personal hygiene as it relates to animal feed.
• Follow safety policies and wear protective equipment as required.
