Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT, is seeking a 2nd shift Operations Supervisor for the Facilities trade organization, supervising Transfer Cars and MIP equipment with Maintenance Machinists and Electronics Mechanics. You will develop and schedule daily/weekly workloads using CMMS and ensure timely completion of work orders.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 5+ years’ experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic systems/equipment.
• Must meet one of the following: 1 year facilities maintenance trade experience at electric boat; 3 years facilities maintenance experience with leadership in high-volume setting; 1 year EB experience and an Engineering degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and schedule daily/weekly workloads using CMMS.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain safety (JHA) and training programs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance program of submarine transfer cars.
• Work with outside contractors and support other Facilities and Operations organizations to complete tasks.
