Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT, is seeking a 2nd Shift Nuclear Test Operations Electrical (NTO-E) Production Radiological Controls Supervisor to support new submarine construction and PSA tasks. The supervisor will lead five to ten Electrical Technicians, coordinating nuclear testing and safe use of resources across shifts.

The role requires reviewing technical documents, briefing technicians, and overseeing test equipment assembly and operations while collaborating with Shift Test

Qualifications

• Must review applicable technical work documents and brief technicians.
• Excellent communication with Shift Test Engineers and engineers.
• Strong understanding of nuclear test and electrical trade functions.

Responsibilities

• Direct five to ten Electrical Technicians in nuclear work and testing.
• Review technical work documents and brief technicians on job execution.
• Oversee test equipment assembly, installation and operations on new submarines.
• Interface with Shift Test Engineers, Electrical Test Engineers, and Ship’s Force.
