Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Connecticut seeks a 2nd shift Nuclear Test Operations Electrical (NTO-E) Production Radiological Controls (PRC) Operations Supervisor to lead a team of five to ten Electrical Technicians in nuclear work and testing on submarines.

You will ensure safe, efficient use of manpower and resources, review technical work documents, brief technicians on execution, and oversee test equipment assembly, installation and operations on new construction and commissioned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3+ years in electrical equipment operations preferred.
• Experience with nuclear test and electrical trade functions is a plus.
• Knowledge of nuclear power manual requirements is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Direct five to ten Electrical Technicians in nuclear work and testing on a day-to-day basis.
• Review technical work documents and brief technicians on job execution.
• Oversee test equipment assembly, installation and operations on submarines.
• Interface with Shift Test Engineers, Electrical Test Engineers and Ship’s Force.
