Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. is seeking a 2nd shift Fabricator in Riverside, CA. You will bend, seat, flange and top flange material according to work orders and drawings, with safety, quality and lean goals in mind. The shift runs 2:30 p.m.

to 11:00 p.m. and includes a $0.75 per hour shift differential. Responsibilities include machine setup, programming and operation of automatic, turret and utility presses; layout, fabrication and assembly; troubleshooting, quality checks; equipment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Mathematical Reasoning: fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Communication: relay information clearly and listen actively.
• Safety: prioritize safe work practices in a production environment.
• Self-management: use time efficiently to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, troubleshoot, and operate one or more production machines (automatic, turret, and utility presses).
• Perform layout, fabrication, and assembly to meet production requirements.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and verify completed work with measuring tools.
• Conduct basic equipment maintenance and follow safety procedures.
• Train and assist other production employees.
