Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie in Riverside, CA is seeking a skilled Fabricator to bend, seat, flange and top flange parts per work orders and drawings. This full-time, non-exempt role focuses on safety, quality and lean production, with travel up to 5% and potential for quarterly bonuses.

You will set up and operate one or more presses, perform layout and fabrication, troubleshoot issues and ensure precise measurements using standard gauges. A high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Mathematical Reasoning: apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Attention to Detail to ensure accuracy.
• Communication: customer service principles and processes; clear information relay.
• Safety: prioritize safe work practices and a clean environment.

• Operation Monitoring: watch gauges and indicators to ensure proper operation.

Responsibilities

• Machine Set-Up, Programming, and Operation on production machines (40%).
• Fabrication and Layout Work to meet production requirements (25%).
• Troubleshooting and Quality Control to verify accuracy of parts (15%).
• Equipment Maintenance and Safety Compliance (10%).
• Training and Team Support to assist other employees (10%).
