Job summary

Ipsen Inc is seeking a 2nd shift manufacturing associate in Souderton, PA. The role involves operating and setting up various fabrication equipment to meet design specifications and schedules.

You will be trained to perform set ups and safe operation of multiple machines and will cross-train to gain a broad understanding of manufacturing concepts. Responsibilities include meeting deadlines, producing parts to quality standards, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining the equipment.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Degree or GED equivalent.
• Solid work history or school/academic record.
• Sheet metal fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and comprehend all forms of written and/or verbal instructions including basic correspondence and blueprints.
• Learn to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, supervisors, and other employees.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, decimals, fractions, etc.
• Learn and become certified to use Fork lift and overhead crane.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed deadlines for assigned tasks.
• Produce parts that meet or exceed quality standards as determined by supervision/quality.
• Train to perform set ups and operation of listed machinery.
• Trouble-shoot machine problems and perform preventative maintenance.
• May be moved and cross-trained on several pieces of equipment to develop a core understanding of manufacturing concepts.
