Job summary

Awnex is seeking dependable, skilled Machine Operators for the 2nd Shift in Ball Ground, GA. You will work with aluminum and steel components using CNC and manual mills, lathes, and other fabrication equipment. Read blueprints, measure parts, and ensure quality while maintaining safety and production flow.

We expect around 2 years of machine operating experience in a metal fabrication setting. You will be responsible for setup, monitoring, and routine maintenance to keep the line moving

Qualifications

• Around 2 years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.
• Able to read blueprints and production documents.
• Comfortable managing assigned work and keeping production moving throughout the shift.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Operate two or more fabrication machines independently.
• Set up and adjust machines for accurate production.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and production documents.
• Use measuring tools to ensure accuracy of parts.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and report issues promptly.
