Job summary

Milliken & Company is seeking a 2nd shift supervisor at the Polartec Dyeing & Finishing Plant in Cleveland, TN. The role reports to the Dyehouse Manager and oversees the dyeing of circular and warp-knit fabrics, along with wet finishing and batching.

Work hours are 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with extensive floor presence. The successful candidate will manage safety, quality, production, and cost, and will ensure adherence to standard work and attendance.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of direct supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School or GED.
• Must have a high level of mental energy, excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Pass a color hue test.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of employees to include Safety, Quality, Production, Delivery, and Cost.
• Hold associates accountable for standard work and attendance.
• Complete all shift reports, communicate with both associates and leadership while executing the daily run schedule.
• Reschedule production lots as needed to maintain production.
• Must be able to spend 75% of the shift on the manufacturing floor.
