Job summary

Nortek Data Center Cooling, LLC is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift in Dyersburg, TN. Under supervision, you will set up and operate fin press, expander press, and hairpin tubing presses, monitor gauges, and ensure adherence to production specs.

You will report malfunctions and help maintain a safe, efficient工作 environment. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in similar industrial machinery, strong sheet metal knowledge, and the ability to read mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
High School Diploma or GED required.
2-year technical degree or Vo-Tech preferred.
5+ years of work experience with similar machinery in an industrial setting.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and production schedules.
Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lay out or detail layout on work stock from blueprints or templates.
Plan sequence of operations, applying knowledge of physical properties of metal.
Set up and operate several types of machines.
Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls to ensure specifications.
Report malfunctions or abnormalities and perform minor repairs.
Willingly and cooperatively perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Actively supports Lean initiatives and safety programs.
