Milliken & Company is seeking a 2nd shift supervisor at the Polartec Dyeing & Finishing Plant in Cleveland, TN. You will supervise three continuous lines in wet finishing and batching stations, from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday, reporting to the Dyehouse Manager.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, and cost control, with a focus on daily production execution. You will spend about 75% of your shift on the plant floor, ensuring standard work, attendance, and timely shift

• Two or more years of direct supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School or GED
• Must have a high level of mental energy, excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Pass a color hue test
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position is located at Polartec Dyeing & Finishing Plant in Cleveland, TN, and reports to the Dyehouse Manager. This is a direct supervisory role in the dye house, dyeing circular and warp-knit fabric. The 2nd shift supervisor also supervises three continuous lines in wet finishing and batching stations. The 2nd shift supervisor works from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, FREQUENCY, AMOUNT, OR DESCRIPTION

• Standing: Ability to stand while presenting at meetings or operating equipment: 25% of day
• Sitting: Ability to sit down for a meeting or work at a computer: 25% of day
• Moving: Ability to move throughout plant: 15% of day
• Lifting: Ability to lift to 50lbs: 10% of day
• Climbing: Ability to climb machine catwalks and stairs, etc., while walking in plant: 10% of day
• Push/Pull/Reach: Ability to push/pull cabinet drawers, reach documents 10% of day
• Bending: Ability to pick up objects from the floor 20% of day
• Walking: Ability to walk throughout the plant on hard concrete surface 85% of day
• Visual Acuity: Ability to read documents, computer screens, and SPIs 100% of the day
