Job summary

Rustic Bakery International, Inc. is seeking a dependable Mixer to efficiently produce flatbread or cookie dough, working with the manufacturing team to meet batch targets and maintain quality. You will be trained in GMP and Food Safety, operate commercial equipment, and follow strict timelines.

Second shift personnel earn an extra $0.50/hour. Regular hours are 11:00 AM–7:30 PM, Monday–Friday with Saturday overtime during busy seasons.

Qualifications

• Must follow GMP and food safety protocols.
• Ability to measure and weigh ingredients accurately.
• Ability to read batch sheets/recipes.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
• Good teamwork and training abilities.
• Basic math skills for weighing and measuring.
• Willingness to work Sundays–Thursdays, with overtime during busy seasons.

Responsibilities

• Follow batch-sheet/recipe for dough and develop mixes.
• Measure and weigh ingredients accurately.
• Combine ingredients in proper sequence and sign off when processed for correct time.
• Maintain strict timelines to ensure the freshest product.
• Visually inspect mixes for quality and appearance.
• Operate commercial equipment safely; perform minor changeovers.
• Clean equipment and perform basic maintenance; report issues.
• Complete batching and traceability paperwork for food safety.
• Train and mentor the Assistant Mixer.
• Follow all safety policies, GMP, and sanitation standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Maintain a positive demeanor with coworkers and supervisors.
